feeling the love. Right. Its V-day. What's funny is that I dont have much to say on the subject. I dont think I have ever really had a strong opinion on it one way or the other, which ultimately may polarize me. I have never really been one of those people who moan about how it was created by the greeting card companies (which it very well may have been), or how depressed it makes me (even when I was single). The other side of that is, of course, that I've never "blown it out of the water" so to speak. I have yet to decorate my house in red, or to put on a tie for a fancy Valentines dinner. (Funny about that one, I actually called around to various eating establishments only to find that they were all booked up. Looks like it's going to be nachos for dinner... that is love, my friends.) I did get my wife flowers, which makes her happy. So there you go. That surely means something. Here is the one thing I really do like about today. Its a celebration of love, which is something that can always stand to be spread around a little more. Sure, its usually considered to be romantic love, but lets not forget about that more love-your-neighbor type of thing. Thats good stuff, too. Lets spread it around, people. Happy V-day. -Hogan
