Friday, April 21, AltaRRed played for trainee soldiers Ft. Huachuca, AZ at Prosser Village Coffee Shop hosted by the post chapel. What a blessing to play for those who sacrifice their lives in the name of freedom, and in such a relaxed setting. The Spirit of the Lord was there in a very noticeable way. Lots of soldiers stopped by to get the free food, and many stayed to listen to the music, at least for a while.
The Soldiers are the reason we were there, but we saw some familiar faces there from previous shows. They are the faithful so they deserve mention here. I didn't ask them to use their names so they're protected for now.
We played an AltaRRed set, a worship set, and then a mixed set, ending with "Not The Same" (my personal favorite).
Our sets were like this:
Believe
Visions Clearing
My All
On My Own
All Life
Lust Filled Youth
Not the Same
Grace Like Rain
Forever
How Great Is Our God
Horizon (38th Paralell)
This Fragile Breath
Our last set was mix of all songs (I think I'm missing a few in there)
At Any rate, it was a treat to be out there praising the Lord in such great company! We hope to do it again.

Chuck, it's a pleasure to be your friend in Sierra Vista as well as here on Xianz. I pray that your family and mine will always encourage one another in Christ-likeness.
