How can I thank You enough for the incredible gift of grace You have given me in Jesus? I know I can't ever fully show my appreciation, but please accept my heartfelt intention to joyously obey the teachings of Your Son and my heartfelt commitment to reflect Your holy character and compassion in all that I do and say.

I am a wife of one and mother of two boys (10 and 8) and one girl (3). We moved from urban Texas to rural Kentucky last summer, and now live near BH's father's family.
O gracious and Almighty LORD, the God and Father of Jesus Christ,
Thank You for Your powerful deliverance. I now ask that You deliver me from the threat of having my eyes diverted away from You by the things I possess. Through Your Holy Spirit, instill a new heart within me. Turn me in faith to Your Son with passion and devotion.
Forgive me for not paying more attention to Your new children in the faith. Open my eyes, help me to see where they are in their journeys with You, and help them in ways that are a blessing. I know that even Your Son went through a period of temptation and testing shortly after he was baptized. I fully expect that most new Christians will face similar challenges. Please use me to bless, encourage, and strengthen them.
Thank you for the story of Your love and grace found in the Bible. Thank You that Jesus used stories to communicate many of Your truths. Please help me to learn these stories and have the Holy Spirit open my mind and heart to understand and apply them to my life.
Thank You for Your children who are new in Your spiritual family and who display that new and fresh joy of being Your child. Please use those who have been Christians longer to encourage these newer Christians in their walk with Jesus and use the newer Christians as a powerful example of faith and trust for those who have been Christians longer than they have. Help each of us to see our deep need to love and appreciate each other.
