Have my countrymen in England, who exalt intellectualism, been so resistant to American evangelism because it seems so simplistic? “Name it and claim it” suddenly seems to have more to it once you discover the Bible says we speak ‘things’ (Psalm 45:1). I share truths from the ‘Word of Faith movement’ in my blog - http://douglas-rickard.blogspot.com – because I believe what I’m in, is not an erroneous cult, but a move of God which happened to begin this time around in the United States. If, as this video demonstrates, doctrines of the ‘Word of Faith movement’ have a Scriptural rationale at the very least, when will brethren from other denominations end the name-calling? (1 Corinthians 3:1-4)

I’m an English guy, brought up in a denominational church who watches and supports American ‘televangelists’. It turns out that TV preachers like Kenneth and Gloria Copeland (that the secular media and some internet websites come against) teach simple Bible truths which are backed up by the anointing; and they don’t confuse what the Word of God says with made-up theology (1 Corinthians 2:4-5). I’m an artist and a writer – www.douglasrickard.com – but my support in prayer and in giving makes me a part of Kenneth Copeland Ministries’ good work and preaching of the gospel of my Lord Jesus around the world (Matthew 10:40-42). I’ve never had my arm twisted to donate money either. In this excerpt from the September 10th 2007 ‘Believer’s Voice of Victory’ broadcasts: ‘A Journey of Faith – The Past 40 Years’ - www.kcm.org - Kenneth and Gloria’s children, Terri, John and Kellie share what action the ministry did take instead, when they were behind by $6 million.
