Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. To me this means not to rely on what man thinks or what he says because all men are carnal and still in the flesh and also on ones own frame of mind. We are to trust in the word and what the Holy Spirit is speaking to us. There is alot of things that other christians think are sin that are not sin to me because I am not convicted by them but there is also a lot of sin out there that is sin to me but not other christians. So I understand what he meant when he said work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. And another point is that as you grow in the Lord you will be convicted of more things you thought were not sin really were. When I was a child I thought as a child but when I grew up I put away childish ways. When I find myself judging others I rem the verse For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. I am glad I am no longer in that catagory and that I can confess my sin and be forgiven and I can study to show his approvement unto God and rightly dividing the word of truth. Not the truth for others but the truth for my salvation, Because I believe that my faith will be sufficient because Jesus died was buried and ressurected for my sins and I want to give his life back and God take mine because it was my sin that took his life. I always wondered what the bible meant when it stated In my father house are many mansions and that I go to prepare a place that where I am you may be also. I thought as a child he was going to prepare a place in heaven but that wasn,t true. The bible states that in my fathers house are many mansions, so he didn,t go to prepare them. He went to prepare to die on the cross for our sins because with out his sacrifice there would be no place for anyone that was not totally obeying the law. Thank God he had me and you on his mind. Also I asked you all one time if you believed once saved always saved. Well God has layed on my heart to tell you why I believe that, So here it is. 1st Corthians3: 10 According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it . But let every man be careful how he builds on it .
11 ¶ For any other foundation can no one lay than the one being laid, who is Jesus Christ.
12 And if anyone builds on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble,
13 each one's work shall be revealed. For the Day shall declare it , because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try each one's work as to what kind it is.
14 If anyone's work which he built remains, he shall receive a reward.
15 If anyone's work shall be burned up, he shall suffer loss. But he shall be saved, yet so as by FIRE. Because John said in Luke 3:16 I indeed baptize you with water, but He who is mightier than I comes, the thong of whose sandals I am not worthy to loose. The bible says we have dominion over all things that are Gods. With his stripes we were healed. If we are sons and daughters of God that we are joint heirs with God. My father has many mansions and he owns a 1000 cattle on a 1000 hills. We have dominion over drugs, sex, addiction of all kinds. We have already recieved all his gifts and have been made sactified, justified and glorified thru him. We are sealed in his redemption and have became new creatures in christ. Even though you are addicted, drunken, broke, indebt, sick, broken and in dispaired. You have been forgiven and have been blessed. You have been redeemed by the blood of his son and were bought by his son that was shamed and spat at and whipped and crucified and worst of all, had his father turn his back to his son that he loved. Then took upon your sin that you were going to commit before you were even concieved. He knew you when you were in your mothers womb and before the concept of sending his son to die on the earth and before the world was concieved. Even before you sinned he knew you were forgiven of that sin. What an awesome love to love sin itself and then to sacrifice your son for it. You have been forgiven of it before you even done it. You are the temple of God. You are not the author of confussion but the heir of the emaculate conseption. You are the son of God. So if you smoke and if you drink and if you curse and if you sin. You have been healed so believe and grasp your destiny and your reward. For those that believe are made the son,s of God and joint heirs in Jesus,s inheirtance. You have been made equal with christ. Hard to believe, BELIEVE IT. CLAIM IT. GRASP IT. RECIEVE IT. Amen
I was raised to not believe in spiritual gifts but when I read the whole bible and studied it for 2 years totally it changed my beliefs and my heart. The holy spirit was feeding me so much that most of the time my cup runneth over. This is my scripture that God delt with me. 1Corithians 3:8 Charity never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be abolished; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be abolished. 9 For we know in PART, and we prophesy in PART. 10 But when the perfect thing comes, then that which is in PART will be caused to cease. Now in the baptist belief, they taught me that when it says PERFECT THING COMES it is Jesus. They taught me when Jesus came the first time and died on the cross then the gifts ceased. But I realized that I still know in part and that can only mean that it hasn,t ceased. I reliezed that when you go to certian churches that several are speaking in tougues and most of the time that there is no interpenter. Also when this happens no one knows what they are saying so it does not edify the church. Also in 1 Corithians the 1st chapter 3 Grace be to you, and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God given you in Jesus Christ, 5 that in everything you are enriched by Him, in all speech and in all knowledge; 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you; 7 so that you come behind in no gift, waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. It states that no person would be behind in no gift, so everyone has the gifts. These scriptures changed my beliefs and my walk in christ. Are you believing God for something today that seems impossible? We serve a great and mighty God. and He can create something out of nothing. He can make a way when there seems to be no way!
My precious Lord, I can't even walk on my own. I can't make it through this day without You. I lean hard on You now. Guide me in every way, Lord. I don't want anything to come into my heart or my mind or any part of my being today that is not of You.
The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.
- Here are two blessings that God wants to give you.
- The blessing of strength and the blessing of peace.
- God gives strength to those who feel weak.
- Peace is a blessing of great value!
"All things work together for good to them that love the Lord!" (Rom.8:28) Even our mistakes are not unprofitable as long as we learn by them! At least we don't very easily forget the lessons we learn that way! So help us, Lord, to follow the easy path of obedience to the Truth of Your Word!
I will remember Your works, O Lord, most High: Surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will meditate also on all Your work, and talk of Your doings. Who is so great a God as my God? You are the God that does wonders: You have declared Your strength among the people. You have with Your arm redeemed Your people. So we Your people and sheep of Your pasture will give You thanks for ever: We will show forth Your praise to all generations. I will sing aloud unto You my strength: And make a joyful noise unto You. You are the most High over all the earth. Righteousness shall go before You; and shall set us in the way of Your steps.
Oh, how grateful and thankful I am to the Lord because He is so good.
