Hey! I'm a southern girl, born and raised in Texas. We currently live in Alabama (since 1989). I'm married and we have 3 sons, 1 daughter-n-law, 2 grandchildren with 1 on the way, 3 dogs and 3 cats. I guess we like the number 3!! LOL Anywayz...... We are Bible believing and God fearing Christians. We dont use that word lightly, Jesus is a major part in our life. We have been called to touch the untouchables, the people that no one wants to even take a second look at. We started a ministry called C.H.A.I.R. Ministry = Community Helping Aid In Recovery. Its an addiction recovery program. We want to restore the family of God. Salvation is the first and foremost step to recovery.
Here we are with Third Day, I dont know that little girl then its Emma, Me and Debbie, then Debbie's friend and her friend. Sorry I forgot names. I'm bad about remembering names but I'm gonna get better. hehe Everyone might like to know that they are very sweet and they shook everyones hand and introduced themself and wanted to know your name as well. The concert was awesome, we had floor seats.
Hey People! I'm so excited..... This saturday I'm going to their concert. They are my favorite band and I'm hopeing my friend will let me have one of her backstage passes. Theres 8 of us going but only 4 passes. If I go backstage you better believe I will get pictures (if they let us take cameras) and I will post them here. Is anybody in Mobile, AL.? Are you going? If you are then I'll see ya there, I'll be the one in the front! hehe
I have some good news.......... I'm gonna be a granny again!! We have a grandson, he is 2yrs old and now he will have a little brother or sister. Our new blessing should arrive on April 19th. It's a scheduled delivery. The date could change as she gets further along. Pray for her, she is having lots of morning sickness that last all day!
I have desided to issue a Challenge to all my friends,and other Christians, lots of People specially Christians shop on Sundays ( Christians do this between Services ) It prob takes 2 or 3 hours on Sundays, lets try something instead of shopping ,or eating out .
For the next 3 months lets use this time or part of this time in prayer and Bible study, I myself ussally sleep or try to sleep in-between services, or visit with my Pastor , but when I'm at home I sleep,
When I'm home I'm going to try and use some of this time in PRAYER myself, some , if not all the time I believe that prayer does solve a lot of problems
if you take the challenge and like the results continue doing so.
