I do want to hear your thoughts about this. Please reply and let me know what you think about what I have written here.
I believe in presuppositionalism. Some people start with the presupposition that the God of the Bible does not exist. Some people start with the presupposition that the God of the Bible does exist. The charge that I cannot "prove" that the God of the Bible exists is a two-edged sword! Even if it is true that I cannot "prove" that the God of the Bible does exist, absolutely no one, without any exceptions at all, can "prove" that the God of the Bible does not exist.
Both sides hold to presuppositions. Both hold views that are matters of faith. These statements are true regardless of whether anyone likes them or not. Creation versus evolution is not science versus (anti-scientific) faith. Rather, it is one presupposition versus another presupposition or one faith versus another faith.
Both sides take their presuppositions and proceed to explain the meaning of the evidence/facts/data. Some people take the facts and try to use them to "prove" that the God Who created those facts does not exist. Those people will never succeed in "proving" that God does not exist. Sooner or later, absolutely everyone will bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ, the One Who created absolutely everything (Philippians 2.9-11).
Do the facts do more to disprove than to prove the presupposition that the God of the Bible does not exist? What part does truth play in the whole of this matter?
Let us think about these things. I hope that you have a good day.

"Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?" (Ecclesiastes 1.2-3). When we leave the God of the Bible out of the picture, what is not "vain" or "vanity"?
Compare the following references. "LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. Behold, Thou hast made my days as an hand breadth; and mine age is as nothing before Thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them" (Psalm 39.4-6). "Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity" (Psalm 62.9). "LORD, what is man, that Thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that Thou makest account of him! Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away" (Psalm 144.3-4).
"For He performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with Him" (Job 23.14). God performs "the thing that is appointed for" us. Compare 1 Thessalonians 3.3. "That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto." God appoints afflictions.
"But He is in one mind, and who can turn Him? and what His soul desireth, even that He doeth" (Job 23.13). In the ultimate sense, no one can change God's mind. No one can turn Him. No one can force Him to turn. What His soul desires that He will do regardless of who tries to stop Him or keep Him from doing it. "But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased" (Psalm 115.3). God has done whatever He has pleased to do regardless of whether anyone likes it or not. Of course, Bible salvation is a totally positive thing. In this sense God has shown infinite goodness to the children of men.
"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever, Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness . . . who, knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them" (Romans 1.24-29, 32).
Let us Pray: O Lord, may we strive to be at peace this Advent season and regard your patience as salvation. Amen.
Listen through the lens of Advent, this season of ours whose themes remind us of the waiting, the preparing, the anticipating we must do, the hope we must have.
Listen and then respond to what the voices of the Holy One are calling to you, beseeching, observing in you.
Celebrate the birth of our Messiah and Redeemer, the Christ, and the joyful anticipation of His second coming.
Be prepared always to give a reason for the hope that is within you: The good news that there is salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ
+ To know Christ
+ To grow in Christ.
+ To serve Christ.
+ To share Christ.
Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and wondrous Christmas.

Thanks for the comment :) How long have you been using this site? I have a myspace and I just stumbled on this site and was excited to check out an alternative, but I'm confused about a few things. I'll figure them out eventually. Well have a great Thanksgiving and God Bless!! Stay strong in your Walk!!
Be still and know (recognize and understand) that I am God.
- The Lord is God and He is God alone!
- Sometimes in the rush of life we lose sight of this.
- Know and understand that God is there for you!
- The Lord Almighty is with you.

Absolutely not, please look at the definition of a scientific theory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory). There is no presupposition in the validity of any scientific theory, including evolution. It is evidence vs none, this puts the burden of proof in your court.
Faith means a "belief in something without evidence". Evolution has massive amounts of evidence supporting it so there can't possibly be any faith, whatsoever, involved. Please do not make strawman(http://www.logicalfallacies.info/strawmanarguments.html) arguments for evolution or it makes your argument completely invalid.
I fully agree that nothing can be proven 100%, like the theory of gravity. But many theories have evidence for them that shows them to be true past reasonable doubt (99.9999999%). Like the theory of gravity as well. We have no mechanisms to get "proof" of gravity but we can see the evidence for it all around.
Everyone starts with no presupposition at child birth. Children are born Atheists due to their lack of belief in a deity. When you make a positive claim that god exists, and the probability of that claim being below 0.001% no presupposition is needed to notice the truth of the matter. You need not assume anything to look at the probability of things.
I'm not even expecting you to "prove" god exists, you use the word faith(belief with lack of evidence) so how could I? Just remember that I can also claim that unicorns and goblins exist in the same way rendering the entire argument moot. You must remember what category your putting your God in when you use the word Faith. If there were even a single shred of evidence for God, no Christian would ever need Faith again to believe in him! I am not worried about finding complete proof for anything, just like there is no reason to go around looking for proof against purple unicorns from mars.
Everybody nowadays is an atheist about Thor and Apollo. Some of us just go one god further.
