I have been nominated for a pretty prestigious award for the "TRIBAL NATION" CD. (Actually, it has been nominated for several awards as you will see below.) Cool or what!?

However, by night, and especially weekends, you can find Mark Shelton donning the cape of the Professional Wrestler “Archangel”, rising the silver saber of the Pirate Captain Radical as part of Swimming Frog Interactive Children's Theater, bringing audiences to life stylishly swinging through the hits of the 50’s and 60’s during his highly sought after Sock Hops or singing the gospel in front of a quickly growing audience.
Described in Christian Music’s Relevant Magazine and Celebrate Radio's Internet & Satellite Ministry as “one of the strongest voices we’ve ever heard with powerful lyrics and dynamic performances”, Mark Shelton is anything but your traditional gospel performer. The love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit radiates during Shelton’s presentations with messages of hope, repentance, forgiveness and standing up in the Spirit of God.
His concerts are an array of astounding vocals, brilliant light and stage effects, and displays a flair for the dramatic. He once stunned an audience with two Harley Davidsons driving onto the stage, filled with interpretive dancers, and for the next tour. . .sword fights!
A native Vermonter hailing from the Northeast Kingdom, Shelton recorded his first major CD entitled “Radical” in 2002. Several songs have become mainstays on Christian Radio Stations and internet sites around the USA and Canada, including 154 Countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia. The proceeds have been donated to help victim’s of the 2004-05 Tsunami. Shelton has been receiving several awards for his latest Nashville release entitled “Tribal Nation”.
Shelton co-founded and is the Director of the International Ministry known as “Wings of Worship”, or WOW. This ministry has the mission of proclaiming the gospel of Christ using the arts as its primary medium. Out of WOW has stemmed two major gospel tours, a children’s interactive theater called “Swimming Frog Theater”, and an award winning Sock Hop performances that has Shelton and the “Team Wonderful” crew making concert stops all over the east coast.
