Brain surgery was done to do a biopsy and was removed a mass that was on Lela's brain. Brain Surgery was Scheduled for Monday Morning... April 14th, 2008 for my sissy Lela.

After many hours of surgery we were given a good report from the Dr.'s They were able to remove the majority of the mass on Lela's brain. The mass was not malignant. However, they are still running tests on what they removed to try and figgure out what the mass is.
The evening after surgery, (last night) Lela was running a feaver and was un-able to keep the hospital Jell-o and broth down... but then again have you ever had hospital Jell-o??? i believe that stuff was invented to cause people to need to stay longer in the hospital. (it's a proven fact... if you don't eat the Jell-o you go home sooner.)
Today Lela was able to talk on the phone some. She says her eyes are swollen, and her head feels like it has been run over by a mac truck, and could explode at any given time. She is looking forward to returning home... maybe even by the end of the week. (by then she will really need to get some rest.) Have you ever tried to get any rest in a hospital??? They wake you to give you sleeping pills, and the patient in the next bed is yelling. As soon as the pills start to take effect someone comes in with a flashlight and shines it in your eyes to see if your pupils are equil and reactive. about the time your brain can relax from the shock of the hallogen lights in the eyes, and begin to drift off, someone comes in with your breakfast tray and wants you to eat.... (again with the Jell-o)
A turn for the worst: Wednesday April 16, 2008 Please keep Lela lifted in prayer, she has been running a fever of 103.2 had chills, and vomiting. They did another MRI to find she has a small bleed and her brain is swelling. Caitlyn, has been crying herself to sleep wanting her mommy so that is another thing that needs God's touch!
Lela was taken back into surgery to repair the bleed, and reduce the swelling on her brain. this 2nd surgery was successful. Lela is on some heavy duty pain meds to help her rest, and help with the mega-sized headache from the surgery.
Now, we wait...
Please Keep Lela, Kevin, and the Dennings Children in your prayers... and pass this on to any prayer warriors you know.

Directions To Our Father's House Make a Right onto Believeth Blvd. Keep straight and go through the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ. There, you must turn onto the Bridge of Faith, which is over troubled water. When you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and Keep Straight. You are on the King's Highway - Heaven-bound. Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son, and One for the Holy Ghost. Then exit off onto Grace Blvd. From there, make a Right turn on Gospel Lane. Keep Straight and then make another Right on Prayer Road. As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on Temptation Ave. Also, avoid SIN STREET because it is a DEAD END. Pass up Envy Drive, and Hate Avenue. Also, pass Hypocrisy Street, Gossiping Lane, and Backbiting Blvd. However, you have to go down Long-suffering Lane, Persecution Blvd. and Trials and Tribulations Ave. But that's all right, because VICTORY Street is straight ahead!
