I have a heart full of God. |

I try to count the ways that I’ve attempted to find happiness. The numbers left my fingers. They were too plentiful to hold with two hands. I try searching for the things that make me long for something. The things that make me want to smile. But they are no where to be found.
I walk around, blind and thirsty. Blind and starving. I walk around desperate for peace. I cannot find it. I go to sleep alone. I wake alone. And it is that way all the time. I am unable to tell when it’ll end. My days and my nights pass by, faster than I can fathom, and I cannot see.
But then He found me.
I was lower than I’d ever been before. I was empty handed, in spite of my numbered attempts. I was full of failures and grief. I was bitter, and angry. I was lost. But He found me. The most beautiful, magnificent, unfailing love flows from His heart. He found me. I am no longer cold, and bitter, and alone. Because He found me. I can smile, and laugh, and it actually means something. Because He found me. I know now, that happiness is impossible without that love, without the knowledge of Jesus Christ. I know that He suffered for me, because He loves me. He loves me. And I am so happy….because He loves me. There is nothing now that can ever bring me down. Nothing that can take this away from me. My hunger is gone, and my thirst is no more. And with the pure heart that I now have, I can say “thank you, Lord, for finding me.”

About me |
I have a hard time talking about myself, although I know me better than anyone else. I have so much to say, so many opinions, but I have the hardest time forming the words properly. I guess this stems from my wanting to have loads of knowledge, and feeling like I don't. I read dictionaries, and enjoy it. One of my favorite things to do is write. I am in the process of writing a book of short whatevers. Whatevers being little blurbs, short random things....I don't know exactly. "I have a hand full of dreams, and a heart full of God." And...there i go again. Wandering off in my mind, not knowing what to say. God Bless you.

What happens when you let your mind wander during a time of sadness and lonliness? I'm not sure. And I don't know if writing whatever my mind decides to write will be anything or just a pointless crowd of words hoping to be something meaningful. There's a ring around my eyes invisible to anyone that comes into contact with me right now. And although it may be invisible, it's heavy and it stings. It's a blunt reminder that in my mind, I want to cry. But, when I snap back into reality of what my life really is right now, I feel foolish. Maybe i need to get out of the habit of running away from warmth. Maybe I need to get out of the cold. Life is passing by so quickly and it is important to realize that God is love, and love is warm. And once He has you, He holds onto you tightly. When I feel alone I have to realize that its my thoughts that make me feel that way, not my reality. Because my reality is in Jesus Christ, and with a reality like that, nothing else in the world could make me happier. And even during my deepest, darkest, lonliest days...God shines His light and He makes everything okay.

the warbler Words by Steve Hindalong
What about the thunder we hear
any time the lightning reappears?
Never fear the darkness of the shock three hundred sixty strokes before heaven already eleven o’clock.
Listen to the warbler’s rhapsody.
He never chirps any funeral melody.
He doesn’t mind the night sky or the hawk.
Sorry lovers take wing under heaven, bells ringing eleven o’clock.
Eleven o’clock.
You must believe it true when I swear we’re alive.
Beware the deceiver.
He’s a killer and a liar.
A killer and a liar.
Your spirit and your eyes are on fire.
Celebrate the wonder of lunar light.
Listen to how the coyote sings at the sight.
Never mind that drum dirge you hear droning.
Fade away into oblivion.
Let decay anyone moaning.
Anyone moaning.
You must believe it true when I swear we’re alive.
Beware the deceiver.
He’s a killer and a liar.
A chiller of desire.
Your spirit and your eyes are on fire.
Listen to the warbler’s rhapsody.
He never sings any funeral melody.
Disregard anybody moaning.
Never mind that drum dirge droning.
What about that thunder we both hear anytime the lightning reappears?
Never dread the mystery of the shock three hundred sixty strokes to touch heaven.
It’s only eleven o’clock.
Eleven o’clock.
1 Peter 5:8
8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Matthew 6Do Not Worry
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life [b]?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Undone:
I'm trying to remember
when your presence fell like rain
These hollow things have replaced you
Lord I need you back again
Take me to where I should be
'Cause I don't belong here I know
Without you there is no hope for me
I'm undone
Make me whole
There are still burning embers
of a life that you restored
Jesus you embraced me
when the world had closed the door
I'm trying to remember
when your presence felt like rain

I Believe (with JESUS IS THE ANSWER) (Jeffrey Pence, Eliot Sloan, Matt Senatore)
Walk blindly to the light and reach out for His hand Don’t ask any questions and don’t try to understand Open up your mind and then open up your heart You will see that you and me we aren't very far apart
‘Cause I believe that love is the answer I believe love will find a way
Violence has spread worldwide and there’s families on the streets We sell drugs to children now, well why can’t we just see That all we do is eliminate our future with the things we do today Money is our incentive now so that makes it ok
Walk blindly to the light and reach out for His hand Don’t ask any questions and don’t try to understand

1 John 4:16
16And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

A Place Called Love
Fleming and John
Words and Music by Fleming McWilliams and John Mark Painter
No bombs, no guns, no more war
No genocide, no torture
No disease, no afflictions
No crippled, no addictions
No prisons, no more poverty
Fresh air, everyone is free
A place called Love, a place called Love
Love, a place called Love
A place called Love
No sun, no moon will shine
The Lamb will be our light
No hunger, no more thirsting
Water of life we'll all drink
No more death, no more crying
Every tear wiped from our eyes
A place called Love, a place called Love
Love, a place called Love
And the Spirit and the Bride say come
Let him who hears, say come
Let him who thrists, say come
Let him who wishes come
To a place called Love, a place called Love
Love, a place called Love
Love
Love

Proverbs 1
Warning Against Rejecting Wisdom 20 Wisdom calls aloud in the street,
she raises her voice in the public squares;
21 at the head of the noisy streets [c] she cries out,
in the gateways of the city she makes her speech:
22 "How long will you simple ones [d] love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery
and fools hate knowledge?
23 If you had responded to my rebuke,
I would have poured out my heart to you
and made my thoughts known to you.
24 But since you rejected me when I called
and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand,
25 since you ignored all my advice
and would not accept my rebuke,
26 I in turn will laugh at your disaster;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you-
27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
28 "Then they will call to me but I will not answer;
they will look for me but will not find me.
29 Since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the LORD,
30 since they would not accept my advice
and spurned my rebuke,
31 they will eat the fruit of their ways
and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
32 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 but whoever listens to me will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm."
