.....A man once noticed that a butterfly was struggling to get out of a cocoon, so he took a razor blade and slit the side of it to help the poor creature. It struggled and then fell out onto the ground, and after a little movement, died. The man hadn't helped the butterfly, he had killed it. The very process of struggling in the cocoon should have pumped blood into the wings of the butterfly, giving it beauty, life, and character.
.....In the same way, all the trials and struggles which come our way are not to do us harm, but to do us good. They are bringing beauty and color to our character which will be revealed the moment we break free from the cocoon of this life
.....So, don't wait to be free from trials before you reach out to those who are still in the shadow of death. There goes another minute..gone forever. GO, share your faith while you still have time........

Well.....to start, im all about our Lord. learning to walk in his light and becoming a vessel of his will! i strive to be all i can be. im a musician and an outdoorsman. i love nature and anything to do with praising our gracious king of kings. i enjoy quality time with genuine people. i am extremely loyal to my friends and i believe wholeheartedly in relationship. I love to make others smile and i really enjoy helping others to realize their potential and how much god loves them. i live in a wonderful mountain setting and i am so blessed to live in a place that encompasses my lifestyle. im a fishing fanatic i guess you could say, i am a guide and naturalist when i can be. i work in surveillance and i enjoy a good challenge anytime. i am a music collector and enjoy playing guitar. i am becoming very active in my church home, lord willing. i must admit, im a dreamer and i love to daydream. when its time for reality, sometimes i weep. im very emotional and im not afraid to cry. i believe in the heart and all that goes with it. "it is our actions which truly define and reflect the condition of our heart." for where our time is spent, our heart is there also. my vision is to become a person whom Jesus would want to hang out with. A fearless example of truth, a mirror of his will. i want to come to that selfless place of bliss where i am completely one with all that he is. all that is good in me, is of him and not of me. Freedom from self is bliss! I strive to be a soldier for christ, a warrior for his glory. a beacon of light, ready and willing to endure any circumstance for the sake of seeing my precious heavenly father one day. i am very patient and i believe in leading by example. This world desperately needs role models and if i can help to lead someone to that wonderful place with the lord, then i am complete. To be unconditional is to know how to love like jesus does. from me to you... "JESUS CHRIST...THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER"....Hebrews 13:8
I saw a creek bed- dry and overgrown with many weeds and brush. Trash was lodged in the weeds and brush and there looked like places in the brush where someone was living. I did not see anyone, but it appeared someone WAS staying there.
Then i saw coming from my right, a wall of water rushing down this dry creek bed. As it went by me i saw all kinds of debris being carried down stream.
Then i saw the dry creek bed as it was before, but this time there was a small amount of water trickling down the creek bed. As the amount of water increased and flowed downstream, it carried with it the debris, brush and trash it had dislodged. The water was dirty, but as the creek bed became full and flowing, the water flowing by me became clearer and clearer. I noticed even the weeds were gone. You could clearly see the whole creeek bed all the way down to the bottom.
Then the word "seperate" came to my mind and the thought, "you are in the world, but not of the world." Then i asked what does this mean? He said..."You are the creek bed, I am the river. The weeds, trash, and debris are the things of the world that cling to you." I asked what the brush was, where it seemed liked someone was living. I was told those are idols in the lives of the believers that have taken up residence in their souls.
Then i saw this picture......
A river flowing and i stood on its bank. God said He is that river and if I would step into it and stay there, that all the debris in my life would be dislodged and flow away from me. God said.. to be "seperate" is to be "in me." To be seperate is to trust and believe that he is God and a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
Then i thought, being "seperate" is so much more than a "Sunday morning go to church activity." I looked up John 15:7-the vine and fruit bearing. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be given to you. The point is....."To remain in him and have is words remaining in you."
......The wall of water i first saw flowing down the creek bed is not how God works his life in us, but rather God calls us to come to him in humility and trust him and step into the water. To be fully free of all debris is to be fully submerged in the river. The river must flow to the place of overflowing both banks of the creek bed for total freedom. At that place, there is complete freedom from self and complete fullness of him. You are fully in him and He is fully in you.
If you only step into the river up to your ankles or your knees, the "River of God" can only remove the debris in you to that point or depth where you stop. God is calling us to yield control and trust him by stepping in and being fully submerged; Allowing his words to take root in us and fill us as he guides our steps.
GET IN THE RIVER...STAY THERE, AND BE FREE IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!
