God is very good! My heart goes out to those who think God doesn't have any interest in them. I pray for those who are downcast because they feel that they do not matter. They do matter! Each one of us is important to God. He wants a relationship with every one of us! If only we would praise him and give thanks constantly! He is worthy of all praise!
God answers all prayers! Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes it is no... and sometimes, it is not yet. But we should all be aware, that some of the answers might not be what you would expect! If you pray for patience, he may give you situations that will make you learn patience... if you pray for strength, you may receive trials that are designed to make you stronger in the end. Everything God does for you is for your benefit, so give thanks!
While I may be preaching to the choir... I have seen and heard too many people that were lost, trying to find their faith in God, and though I feel their pain, I can only pray that they realize that they are blessed in the fact that all is not lost... that God loves them, he really does... and if they would stop trying to fix their broken lives all by themselves and give their problems to the Lord to handle, they may find their burdens lifted... their struggles subsided.
Remember, also... that while this life may be good, everlasting life is much better! Jesus wants us all to be with him one day, and if we are too full of worrying about making this life better for ourselves, there may not be room for the best life - which is our life in Heaven with the Lord Jesus!
We need to do what Jesus wants us to do... love God, love each other, answer the cry of the needy, pray for others who need prayer, and pray for the Holy Spirit to guide us so we can do and say things that are right and pleasing to God. Put God first, and worry about the needs of others before ourselves. Everything else falls into place, according to God's plan!
Hmm.. well I am really into music... love to sing! I sing alto in my church choir, and tenor in the Ohio Lyric Theater chorus. And I sing in the shower. And the kitchen. And the chicken coop (the chickens really like it).
I have bunches of parrots. Cockatiels, greencheek conures, african greys, a greenwing macaw, and a bare eyed cockatoo. Love all the birds, but I sure wish the ducks wouldn't come to the front door and poop on my porch.
Live on a small farm and am really happy here... in addition to the parrots and poultry we have goats, donkeys, sheep, and well, our beef has gone to the butcher... so we don't have any of those right now. Also have dogs and kitties too.
I am very active in my church... my church family is the best! Did I say I sing in the choir? Sometimes I get to sing special music too! I'm also on the Worship committee. Vacation Bible School is coming up, and I am in charge of the music... I am not really a kid oriented person, but for some reason they seem to like me... I am also a certified Lay Speaker in my church. I recently preached my first sermon! I do what I can to serve the Lord.
I've been on the Walk to Emmaus in February 2005 and it was a great vessel for me. I have grown so much in my relationship with the Lord in that one weekend, and the things I have learned there have stayed with me in my daily walk with Christ. I have a fantastic husband and adore my kids who are not so little anymore... my youngest is in her first year of college this year. Oh, I also enjoy computer games... and playstation.. sega... nintendo... etc... (sigh) I am a Final Fantasy fan... played em all up to 12. I really like the music of Nobuo Uematsu in the Final Fantasy series.
I really like playing on the computer too, and am so happy to have found Xianz on the internet! There are some great people that hang out here... I enjoy hanging out in the shouts - you'll find me there most nights if you are looking!

I hope to meet some new Christian friends! I have met one new friend so far. And invited one old one to join. Well, she is not really old.. old being a relative term.. I have been friends with her for most of my life. Which says a lot. Anyway, my feet are wet now, so I think I will browse and play some more....
