The Sound of War!
What a privilege and awesome responsibility the Body of Christ has to be chosen for this time and place in God's plan for the ages! The absolute necessity for pressing in to increased intimacy in our individual and corporate relationship with the Lord has seemed to suddenly assume mind-bogglingly major proportions, especially given the announcement that we are officially THE last generation before our Lord returns for His Bride. (See the article "Divine Announcement" on our nightwatch board at http://groups.msn.com/LightHouseFellowshipMinistries ) It is imperative we grasp hold of the TIME and SEASON that we are now in.
It is TIME FOR UNITY in the Holy Spirit. As we come together in agreement with God's will, God's thoughts, God's purpose for this time and place in eternity, and as we align ourselves with His Word in prayer, we will see the Strong Arm of the Lord manifest in greater power than we have yet seen or been able to imagine. The Lord has begun and will continue to tear down denominational barriers and the lies of the enemy that have kept His Church disjointed and disconnected for He will have a Bride without spot or wrinkle, working in unison with the angels of heaven under the leadership of Jesus Christ our King through the Mighty Holy Spirit. King Jesus won the victory for us at Calvary and it is our privilege to be the vessels through whom He will now show forth His dominion over ALL things and peoples, both spiritual and natural.
"To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; TO THE INTENT THAT NOW THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD BE MADE KNOWN BY THE CHURCH TO THE PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him." Ephesians 3:8-12
The Church has been in a long SEASON of preparation for this very time and place, even from the beginning of the New Testament Church as recorded in the Book of Acts. As God has been preparing His Church, the devil has been preparing his 'church' as well. As the battle steps up in the spiritual realm, it will be made manifest in the physical realm. This is not a TIME for the fainthearted or the doubters or the complainers or the fence sitters. This is the TIME for the faithful and true, the bold and courageous, the mighty warriors of the Lord to go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit and take back what the enemy has stolen from the Kingdom of God. SOULS!
Isaiah 44:24-45:3, 8, 11-13
24 "Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb: "I am the Lord, Who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself; 25 Who frustrates the signs of the babblers, and drives diviners mad; Who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolishness; 26 Who confirms the word of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers; Who says to Jerusalem, 'You shall be inhabited,' to the cities of Judah, 'You shall be built,' and I will raise up her waste places; 27 Who says to the deep, 'Be dry!' And I will dry up your rivers'; 28 Who says of Cyrus, 'He is My shepherd, and he shall perform all My pleasure, saying to Jerusalem, "You shall be built," and to the temple, "Your foundation shall be laid. 1 "' Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held--to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: 2 'I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. 3 I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, AM the God of Israel."
8 "Rain down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it." 11 Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: "Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; and concerning the work of My hands, you command Me. 12 I have made the earth, and created man on it. I--My hands--stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded. I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways; He shall build My city and let My exiles go free, not for price nor reward," says the Lord of Hosts."
What awesome promises the Lord gives to us! He will go before us and set free the treasures--the SOULS-- that have been hidden in darkness. This is the TIME to seek the Lord for HIS strategy, HIS direction and HIS perfect timing in order that the plans of the enemy shall come to naught and the Church shall arise triumphant through Jesus! This is the TIME to lay aside all pride and arrogance, all disobedience and rebellion, all selfishness and self-centeredness, and die to self. We must be imitators of Christ in our obedience to the Father's perfect will, even though it means suffering and even death. It is time to take up our cross, even though it be an instrument of death, and walk in the Love of God towards one another, first in the Body and secondly, to the lost. They will know us by our love one for another. The love and power of God flowing through each of us is what will draw the lost from darkness and bondage to true freedom in Christ.
NOW is the TIME to lay aside every weight, every distraction, all our busyness, and the sin that so easily besets us. NOW is the TIME to get our FOCUS on JESUS and keep it there! NOW is the TIME to seek the Lord while He may be found. NOW is the TIME to listen to the voice of the Lord and OBEY. NOW is the TIME to put on the armor of God and keep it on for we have entered the SEASON OF WAR. The weapons of our warfare are GOD'S LOVE, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, and PRAYER. No one is exempt from the battle. Those who refuse to fight will become casualties. I, for one, do not want to be a sad casualty of war. I choose to follow my King into battle knowing that my King has already won the war for me.
I encourage you to get on your face before the Lord and ask for His Wisdom and His Strategy for you individually and corporately. Let your praise and worship resound through the heavens and throughout the earth. OUR GOD REIGNS! Rise up, Church, in God's power and might! Do you hear that sound? It is the sound of war. The shofar is even now blowing calling you to battle. Will you answer the call?

“Urgent Prayer request from Pastor Jerry!” June 19, 07
Dear Prayer Warriors;
My Brother, and fellow servant in the Lord, Tony Anderson of Decatur Georgia, suffered a Mild Stroke last week according to an e-mail from His wife Susan. Susan informs me that he has 85 to 90 percent of His speaking and motor functions, but will have to do some therapy for a while.
She also informed me that in addition to this, her Mother is ill, and she (Susan) is caring for her, and Tony and Susan’s little girl Faith, is also ill. This is a great deal of burden for Susan, so please agree with us for complete recover for Tony, and that the Holy Spirit would strengthen Susan as she labors in love to care for her household.
Also will you agree with me that Daddy will open the door for me to fly there to Decatur and render some assistance if it be His perfect will.
I will endevor to keep those of you who are agreeing withy us updated.

Al Thomas: "IN 2007 I WILL CALL MANY ELIJAHS OUT OF THEIR CAVE"
"AS I PRAYED ABOUT THE YEAR 2007, I SAW A VISION OF A PERSON IN A CAVE. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS ELIJAH (1 Kings 19:9). BUT IT WASN'T...."
 God said: "I HAVE MANY PROPHETS HIDDEN IN CAVES" (1 Kings 18:4)
"For some of you, your cave is the job you have, or a hopeless circumstance. For others, it is a ministry that doesn't seem to have the impact you thought it would. Some are in the cave of depression. These 'tucked away' ones have been given revelation that many do not understand or receive" (Daniel 12:10).
"I have a word (Proverbs 15:23) for these hidden servants of Mine: 'In 2007, I will bring many of you out of obscurity and into your life calling (1 Thessalonians 5:24).' Did you not know--I have had you hidden like a man hides valuables in a safe?" (Isaiah 45:3).
God said: "JUST LIKE ELIJAH DID, MANY OF YOU FEEL ALL ALONE"
"Many of My children are very zealous for Me, but are mistaken to believe that they are all alone (1 Kings 19:4). I have many other servants 'in the wings' that I have been hiding (1 Kings 19:18). You need to understand that some of the mightiest warriors who ever lived, first had their home in a cave and felt all alone before their king came into power (1 Samuel 22:1; 2 Samuel 23:13). Feeling alone isn't a sin, just a delusion."
God said: "HERE'S HOW TO BEHAVE IN A CAVE"
 BUILD A FIRE IN YOUR CAVE: "During this season, your job is to keep the Spirit's flame burning (2 Timothy 1:6), so you can see clearly. Just gather kindling (setting aside time for Me) and I'll do the rest. Many of you feel spiritually cold, and you need the warmth that being close to Me provides."
DO NOT BE ISOLATED: "Just because you are in a cave, doesn't mean you are to shut yourself off from others. When David was in his cave, he gathered other warriors along side of him to prepare for the day when he would leave (1 Samuel 22:2). Isolation is not an option. The enemy wants you to be isolated, feeling sorry for yourself.
As David had his mighty warriors (1 Chronicles 11:10), so do I (2 Samuel 22:35)--You are one of them. I am calling many who are waiting in caves of isolation to come forth and do battle for Me. I want you to gather with other mighty warriors who will encourage you" (1 Chronicles 12:8).
DECORATE YOUR CAVE: "Again, when My servant David was in a cave (1 Samuel 22:1), he prepared his way out by decorating the walls with praise (Psalm 142:7) and putting up drapes of patience (Proverbs 16:32). As you begin to sing high praises to Me, I will set ambushes against your enemies (2 Chronicles 20:22).
Like David, you must not seek vengeance on those who let you down, but trust Me to work out all things for the good, even the most painful things. I will balance the scales (Romans 12:17-21) because I know the hearts of men better than you do (1 Chronicles 28:9). You must not leave your cave with unforgiveness in your heart" (Matthew 6:14-15).
God said: "SOON I WILL BRING MANY OUT OF THEIR CAVE"
"The fullness of time is coming for many in the Church. I have reserved many prophets for these end times. I am calling you to be humble before Me, merciful to all who come into your path, and bold in battle (Proverbs 28:1). I want you to recruit, train, and arm warriors for My Kingdom. Self pity has no room for expression at this time. I am calling you to minister to the lost, confused, and desperate, and then make them ready for war.
As I bring you out of the cave, remember this: I want your entire life to be one long, obedient response to My Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14). To accomplish this, study My Word like you would study a map that was found while lost in the jungle."
God said: "HERE'S HOW TO CONDUCT YOURSELF AS YOU EXIT THE CAVE"
"Before Elijah left the cave, he wrapped himself in his mantle, and as soon as he did, he heard My voice (1 Kings 19:13).
When you leave the cave, do not always look for Me in the dramatic (1 Kings 19:11-12). Instead, like I did with Elijah, I will speak softly to you. Keep in mind that I do not desire you be famous, but faithful (Psalm 101:6), bold, and uncompromising. Rise above a life of double-mindedness (James 1:5-8) and walk in your high calling.
As John the Baptist picked up Elijah's mantle, I have a mantle for you to pick up. Do not simply carry it, but wrap yourself tightly in it. John operated in the 'spirit and power of Elijah' to prepare the coming of the Lord. In like manner, I am calling many out of their cave to prepare for the coming of My Son.
 That light you see in front of you is the entrance to the cave, but now...it is turning into an exit. No more cave dwelling for you. It's time for fresh air and a new start. Well, are you coming?"

The Door We Go Through Better Be Jesus!
In the first book of the Bible - Genesis - we read about the "door" that God shut after Noah entered into the ark - "And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in"(Genesis 7:16).
Then in the last book of the Bible - Revelation - we read again of the "door" - the "open door" - that no man can shut and the "shut door" that no man can open - "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith He that is holy, He that is true, He that hath the key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name."
Sandwiched between these two books are more verses of Scripture pertaining to the "door." Some of them are as follows -
1 Corinthians 16:9 says - "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries."
2 Corinthians 2:12 says - "Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord."
Colossians 4:3 says - "Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds."
Matthew 25:10 says - "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut."
Luke 13:25 says - "When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and He shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are."
We see from these Scriptures that just as easily as God opens a "door" so can He shut one. The reason being is that He has the "key of David." What this means is that He has the authority or power as the Lord of the Kingdom of the Gospel and Heaven. The "key" is the token of His sovereignty and supreme right. He alone has the free and unrestrained access to His House. He has the absolute control in regards to the admission or exclusion of anyone.
He is the source of all liberty and opportunity for His Church. Hence, "an open door" represents an opening for evangelism or spiritual usefulness...an entrance into the joy of the Lord or into the meaning of the Scriptures...or an enjoyment of some privilege or honor. "An open door" can also mean that the opportunity is available to receive the Gospel and be saved.
The "shut door" - on the other hand - relates how the time of opportunity to reach a certain group of people or to accomplish a certain task has passed by. Or it says that the door of opportunity to respond to Jesus is closed and access into His Presence can no longer be regained. No amount of agonizing in prayer will avail to open the door.
Read what the Book of Job has to say about this matter -
Job 11:10 says - "If He cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder Him?"
Job 12:14 says - "...He shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening."
Once God shuts a door on an opportunity relating to ministry, a relationship, or employment, there can be no opening it. Who would dare to "hinder" Him once He shuts it?
Do you think that you can possibly contradict...stop...or turn Him back once He shuts up a man? Can you possibly release those whom He has imprisoned? He has the power to frustrate the best laid plans so that they can never come to any good effect.
Right before the Flood, God shut Noah in but shut the wicked and ungodly out. He shut Noah in - saving and protecting him. He shut the ungodly world out - leaving them to be destroyed by the waters.
In the end of time, God will shut in those who truly and heartily yielded obedience to Him, but He will shut those out who only knew Him in a professional way.
We must never forget that God operates on "an open door" and "closed door" basis. This concept is seen throughout the Scriptures.
So many today are doing things without having God's "open door" on it. They have seemingly opened their own doors and closed any which did not appeal to their flesh.
We must never forget the Lord's words as recorded in John 10:7 which are - "...Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep." That means that whatever His sheep do, they do because Jesus made a way to do it. In other words, they minister in a certain realm, capacity, or position because Jesus as the "door" made a way to do so. Every relationship that they are involved in, they are "plugged in" because Jesus as the "door" brought together certain people for fellowship. The job situation that they are involved in - Jesus as the "door" led them into it as a means of provision, blessing, and ministry.
Every aspect of the "sheep's" life must be channeled through the "door" of the Shepherd. He must be the One Who opens the way to go through. When He is finished with a certain course of direction, then He as the "door" has the prerogative to slam that opportunity shut. After all, He is the "door" and has the right to stay open or to shut close.
But what happens when someone gets ahead of Him and opens his own doors of opportunity - whether they be ministry, relationship, or job-related?
Read what John 10:1 says about this matter - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber." Jesus calls all those - who are too impatient to wait on His timing and run ahead and open up their own doors - "thieves and robbers."
And what do you suppose that He will do to all those who happen to open their own doors of opportunity?
What did He do - in the days of Noah - to the entire world who refused to follow His way? He "shut" them out of His care and protection and "shut" them in to His destruction.
And what do you think He will do to all those in the present-day world who refuse to wait on Him for His direction and leading and allow Him to be the Lord of their lives? As the "door," He will "shut" them out of His care and protection and "shut" them in to His wrath and judgment.
Who refuses to go through God's open "door" - Jesus? Who refuses to wait for His perfect timing in opening a door of opportunity in any given life matter?
If that is you, you are "a thief and a robber."
Do you think that you can possibly contradict, stop, or turn Jesus away once He "shuts" the door on you?
